DexRewards

DexRewards gives you milestone rewards for completing your Pokedex. As you catch more and more unique Pokemon species, you unlock progressively better rewards at configured percentage thresholds.

How DexRewards Works

  • Catch Pokemon as you normally would. Every new unique species you catch counts toward your Pokedex completion percentage.
  • When you cross a reward milestone (e.g., 10% completion, 25%, 50%, etc.), you receive a chat notification that a new reward is available.
  • Run /dex rewards to open the rewards GUI.
  • Claim your available rewards. Unclaimed rewards persist until you claim them.
  • Rewards update automatically whenever you catch a new Pokemon, relog, or when the mod is reloaded. You don't need to manually check — the system notifies you.

    Reward Tiers

DexRewards supports up to 21 configurable reward tiers at different Pokedex completion percentages. Early tiers reward basic items and currency to help new players get started, while higher tiers offer increasingly valuable prizes — rare items, large currency payouts, crate keys, and exclusive rewards.

The exact milestones and rewards are configured by the server and may change with updates and new Pokemon additions. Check /dex rewards regularly to see your progress and what's coming next.

    Reward Types

Each milestone can include multiple rewards:

    • Item rewards: Specific items delivered directly to your inventory (Poke Balls, evolution stones, held items, rare candies, etc.).
    • Currency rewards: PokeDollars and/or Tokens added to your balance.
    • Command rewards: Special rewards executed via server commands — crate keys, rank upgrades, cosmetics, or unique Pokemon.

    Tips

    • DexRewards incentivizes catching every species you encounter, not just the ones you want for your team. Catch everything — even common Pokemon you'd normally skip contribute to your completion percentage.
    • Use /wild to teleport to random locations and discover new biomes with Pokemon you haven't encountered before.
    • Poke Snacks attract specific types — craft and place them to find type-specific species you're missing from your Dex.
    • Wonder Trade is a great way to fill Dex gaps. Trade away duplicates and you might receive species you've never seen.
    • The Pokedex itself (craftable item) lets you scan wild Pokemon from a distance — even scanning registers a Pokemon as "seen" and gives you partial info, though only catching registers full data and counts toward DexRewards.
    • Completing the entire Pokedex also unlocks the Shiny Charm, providing a permanent passive shiny rate boost on all encounters. DexRewards milestones give you prizes along the way, and full completion gives you the Charm on top.

    Additional Pokecade Features

Beyond the 15 core features above, Pokecade includes several supporting systems:

    • Friends System (/friends): Cross-server friend list with online status tracking and request management GUI.
    • Discord Linking: Link your Minecraft account to Discord with /verify. Generates a verification code. Successful linking rewards a Shiny Crate Key.
    • Pokeshow: Type [i1] through [i6] in chat to display your party Pokemon's stats inline. Other players can hover over the display to see details.
    • Chat Games: Pokemon trivia and mini-games pop up in chat periodically. First correct answer wins currency.
    • Crates: Loot boxes opened with keys earned from voting, events, raids, and the store. Tiers include Vote Crate, Shiny Crate, Rare Crate, and Legendary Crate.
    • Back Command (/back): Return to your previous location, including your death point. Respects claim boundaries and has a cooldown.
    • Wild Teleport (/wild): Random teleportation to a safe location in the world via a GUI. Great for exploring new biomes.
    • Voting: Vote on server listing sites for $5,000 + Vote Crate Key per vote. Community Vote Party at 50 total votes.
    • TMs (StellarTMs): Reusable TMs and single-use TRs for teaching moves to Pokemon. Blank TMs/TRs can copy moves from existing Pokemon.
    • CobbleHunts: Targeted species hunting quests for tracking and finding specific Pokemon.
    • NeoDailies: Daily quest/reward system for additional daily objectives.
