We are incredibly excited to officially welcome you to Pokecade - a brand new Cobblemon multiplayer experience built from the ground up for trainers, explorers, and competitive battlers alike.

Introducing Fire Red

Fire Red is our debut realm - a full survival Cobblemon world where Pokemon roam freely across every biome, battles use the Pokemon Showdown engine for competitive accuracy, and the entire Minecraft experience is enhanced with custom features designed to keep you playing for months.

Whether you are a veteran Pokemon fan or brand new to Cobblemon, Fire Red has something for everyone. The world is massive, the Pokemon roster spans all nine generations with 850+ species, and there is always something to do.

A True Pokemon Adventure

When you first join, you will choose a starter Pokemon from Generations 1 through 9, then head out into the world to explore, catch, battle, and train. Pokemon spawn naturally based on biome - deserts have Ground and Fire types, oceans have Water types, snowy peaks have Ice types, and caves are full of Rock and Dark types waiting to be discovered.

Catching works just like in Pokemon Legends: Arceus - throw Poke Balls directly at wild Pokemon without battling, or weaken them in turn-based combat first for better catch rates. Craft your own Poke Balls from apricorns and metal ingots, set up a Healing Machine at your base, and build your dream team.

Packed With Features

Fire Red is not just vanilla Cobblemon - we have built an entire ecosystem of custom features to make the experience deeper and more rewarding:

• Custom Raids — Team up with other players to battle powerful boss Pokemon like Charizard, Dragonite, and Mewtwo. Deal damage, earn rewards, and try to catch the boss at the end.
• GTS & Wonder Trade — List your Pokemon on the Global Trading System for other players to buy, or throw one into Wonder Trade and see what you get back.
• Research System — Daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal tasks that reward PokeDollars, Tokens, and items. There is always a new objective to chase.
• Legendary Spawns — Over 42 legendary species spawn naturally in the wild as you play, with a pity system that ensures dedicated trainers are rewarded.
• Tournaments — Bracket-based competitive battles with prize pools, spectator mode, and official rulesets.
• Adventures — Send your Pokemon on timed missions while you are offline and collect rewards when they return.
• Fusion Gyms — Challenge dual-type gym leaders across the world and earn badges.
• PokeBuilder — Customize your Pokemon's IVs, EVs, nature, ability, shiny status, and more using earned Tokens.
• DexRewards — Earn milestone rewards as you fill out your Pokedex, culminating in the Shiny Charm.
• Land Claims — Protect your base and builds with the Flan claiming system. No griefing, no stealing.

Introducing Galaxy Pokemon

We are launching with something truly special — Galaxy skinned Pokemon. These are exclusive custom Pokemon variants featuring stunning cosmic and galactic textures that you will not find anywhere else. Galaxy Pokemon shimmer with deep space colors, nebula patterns, and stellar effects that make them instantly recognizable and highly collectible.

Galaxy Pokemon are available through our brand new Galaxy Crate. Each Galaxy Crate gives you a chance at one of these rare cosmic variants. They are purely cosmetic collectibles — a way to show off your dedication and style while keeping the competitive playing field level.

Galaxy Crate Keys can be earned through gameplay events and are also available in the store. Whether you grind for them or grab them from the shop, every Galaxy Pokemon you pull is a unique trophy for your collection.

How to Join

Getting started is easy:

1. Download the Pokecade Cobblemon modpack from CurseForge or Modrinth.
2. Launch the modpack profile from your launcher.
3. Add play.pokecade.org to your server list and join.
